Rich Bake is a top bakery and food production company with a strong market presence. As the business expanded, it saw the need to strengthen employees’ interpersonal skills to improve collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making in a fast-evolving environment

The Challenge

  •  Gaps in problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, leading to delays in handling operational issues.
  • ·         Weak planning and time management skills, affecting productivity and efficiency.
  •  Communication barriers between departments, resulting in misunderstandings and workflow bottlenecks.
  •  A need to enhance negotiation skills, especially for employees dealing with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

To address these challenges, Rich Bake partnered with ZAT to deliver a targeted soft skills training program for its employees. The program was meticulously designed to meet the company's needs.

  • A)Communication Skills  

A signature program by Dr. Bishoy Salama, designed to:

  •  Active listening and giving constructive feedback.
  •  Adapting communication styles to different audiences.
  •  Managing difficult conversations professionally.
  •  Win-win negotiation strategies.
  •  Handling objections and reaching agreements.
  •  Building long-term partnerships through effective negotiation.


B) Comm Planning and Time Management

                  Delivered by Eyad Raghib, focusing on

  •  Setting SMART goals.
  •  Prioritization methods.
  •  Overcoming procrastination and managing workplace distractions.



C)Problem Solving & Decision Making

                       Led by Mohamed Nasser, covering

  •  Fundamentals of delivering premium customer service.
  •  Handling complaints professionally.
  •  Turning service moments into loyalty opportunities.
  • Developing active listening skills and empathetic responses

The Impact and Results

After completing the Soft Skills Training Program:

  •   Problem-solving speed improved significantly, with faster resolution of operational challenges. 
  •   Interdepartmental communication became more effective, reducing misunderstandings and enhancing collaboration.
  •   Employees demonstrated enhanced negotiation capabilities, resulting in better deals and smoother internal coordination.
  •  Overall, there was a noticeable boost in employee confidence, morale, and proactive behavior.

ZAT also adopted a practical and interactive approach. The training was held over three consecutive days at the Makanak Training Center, providing a comfortable and focused environment for Rich Bake employees to develop and effectively apply their soft skills.
